LH Gwangju Jeonnam Headquarters, Sponsoring Nutritional Support for Children from Low-Income Families

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] LH Gwangju Jeonnam Regional Headquarters (Head Lee Jae-ro) announced on the 23rd that it donated 9.5 million won to Good Neighbors Gwangju Jeonnam Regional Headquarters (Head Bae Jun-yeol) to support the nutrition of children from low-income families.

The donation ceremony was held with the attendance of Lee Jae-ro, Head of LH Gwangju Jeonnam Regional Headquarters, Bae Jun-yeol, Head of Good Neighbors Gwangju Jeonnam Regional Headquarters, and Choi Kang-nim, Director of the Gwangju Support Group for Regional Children's Centers.

This donation will be used for the "Our Family Strong Lunchbox Project" to guarantee the developmental rights of children from low-income families who have difficulty maintaining balanced nutrition due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic. Through this project, side dish lunchboxes and daily necessities will be provided to 50 low-income households living in LH rental housing in Gwangju Metropolitan City.

Lee Jae-ro, Head of the LH Regional Headquarters, said, "I hope this will provide practical help to families struggling due to COVID-19," and added, "We will continue social contribution activities to promote community welfare and take the lead in realizing the value of sharing in the Gwangju and Jeonnam regions."
