Damyang-eup Office Installs '24-Hour Outdoor Booth for Unmanned Civil Service Issuance Machine'
[Damyang=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Kim Chunsu] On the 23rd, Damyang-gun, Jeollanam-do announced that it has installed an outdoor booth with an unmanned civil service issuance machine at the entrance of the civil service office in Damyang-eup to facilitate the issuance of civil complaint documents for residents at any time.
This unmanned civil service issuance machine was installed in preparation for the shift to a contactless society and in anticipation of an increase in civil complaints due to the occupancy and construction of apartment complexes within Damyang-eup.
The newly installed unmanned civil service issuance machine at the eup office is in the form of an independent booth separated from the government building. It features a ramp and automatic door for easy access by residents using wheelchairs, and is equipped inside with heating and cooling systems, CCTV, and an unmanned security system.
The unmanned civil service issuance machine includes accessibility features such as a keypad for the visually impaired, voice guidance and Braille labels, screen magnification for the visually impaired, and screen guidance for the hearing impaired. It also supports credit card payment for all certificates, allowing issuance of 86 types of civil complaint documents.
Damyang-gun currently operates a total of six unmanned civil service issuance machines (at the county office, Goseo-myeon, Changpyeong-myeon, Daedeok-myeon, Subuk-myeon, and Daejeon-myeon), and plans to install unmanned civil service issuance machines at six eup/myeon locations where none are currently installed and one Damyang-eup Nonghyup branch in the first half of next year.
