SK Geocentric Unveils Eco-Friendly Digital Campaign


[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Yoon-joo] SK Geocentric is sharing its plan to transform into an eco-friendly urban oil field company, revealed through its Financial Story, with the MZ generation (Millennials + Generation Z) via a digital campaign.


SK Geocentric, a green chemical business subsidiary of SK Innovation, announced on the 23rd that it has launched a digital campaign based on the company motto "Earth-centric, refreshing nature." At the same time, it has started events to raise awareness about eco-friendliness and opened related SNS channels.


The campaign, released through channels such as YouTube, embodies a strong commitment to renewing nature with an earth-centric mindset and completing the core of SK Geocentric’s Financial Story: eco-friendly urban oil fields.


Along with the campaign launch, SK Geocentric is conducting a digital promotion focused on eco-friendliness for about three weeks starting from the 22nd. Participants will answer 10 random quiz questions related to environmental knowledge and proper waste separation, and receive various prizes based on the number of correct answers.


Meanwhile, SK Geocentric has also opened an SNS channel titled “Eco-friendly Secret Agent Protecting the Earth, aka AGENT GC.” This aims to raise eco-friendly awareness and effectively deliver information on eco-friendly technologies and environmental issues by utilizing channels familiar to the MZ generation.


SK Geocentric stated, "This campaign was launched to solidify our commitment to evolving into an eco-friendly urban oil field company and to actively explain and spread this to stakeholders. As the company has promised internally and externally through this campaign, we will focus on securing technologies and capabilities for an eco-friendly Earth."
