[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bo-kyung] Yogiyo, a leading domestic delivery application (app), is conducting an online pre-event ahead of the food festival 'Yogiyo Town,' which allows people to enjoy menus from famous restaurants nationwide in December while supporting small business owners.
Yogiyo Town was launched to help revitalize local shopping districts struggling due to COVID-19 and to provide delicious experiences to Yogiyo customers together with local small business owners. It will be held for three days from the 17th to the 19th of next month on Quynon-gil in Itaewon, Seoul, in collaboration with about 20 restaurants known as hot spots nationwide, from Jeju to Seoul.
To recruit participants for the event, Yogiyo is conducting an online pre-event until the 5th of next month. By participating in the Yogiyo Town test event, which asks about food preferences, participants can receive an invitation suggesting personalized recommended restaurants based on their results. Those who complete the online test can also join a lucky card drawing event to receive abundant gifts.
Participation in the event is available on the official Yogiyo Town event page. Detailed information about the festival can be found on the event page or in the Yogiyo app.
Park Chae-yeon, Head of Marketing at Yogiyo, said, "Yogiyo Town is a food festival prepared to support the owners who have faced many difficulties due to the prolonged COVID-19 situation and to allow consumers to enjoy together. We hope for much interest and participation from Yogiyo customers."
