224 Works Submitted and 13 Selected... Features Include 'Lifestyle Expression'
[Asia Economy Reporter Kangwook Cho] Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) announced on the 23rd that it has selected the winners of the ‘2nd Public Housing Interior Photo and Video Contest’ held in August for public rental housing residents, and will hold an on-site award ceremony from the 24th to the 26th.
The contest, themed “My Layered Lifestyle” for an untact housewarming of our homes, received a total of 224 submissions, of which 13 works were selected as winners.
The grand prize-winning work by the couple Kim OO, residents of Sejong Gaon Village Complex 7, created a neat yet emotional atmosphere with white-tone interiors complemented by warm wooden furniture. They also transformed the living room into a comfortable resting space for the couple by utilizing it for various purposes such as a movie theater and a caf?. LH explained that the submitted works particularly showed interior characteristics such as △expression of lifestyle △rediscovery of balconies △separated space composition.
LH produced an online housewarming video content featuring the grand prize and the best single-person household award-winning works. The video is available on the YouTube channel ‘LH Korea Land and Housing Corporation.’ Additionally, LH plans to publish a collection of all winning works titled ‘Sodam Housing’ and release it on the LH website in December.
Park Cheolheung, Head of LH Public Housing Headquarters, said, “This contest was a meaningful opportunity to talk about residents’ living spaces and diverse lifestyles,” and added, “We will continue to create opportunities to communicate with many residents.”
