[Sejong=Asia Economy Reporter Moon Chaeseok] The Seoul Regional Customs Office of the Korea Customs Service and the Korea International Trade Association announced on the 23rd that they have signed a business agreement to support small and medium-sized export companies in entering overseas markets.

The two organizations agreed to support overseas buyer matching and online video marketing for small and medium-sized enterprises certified by the Korea Customs Service as Authorized Economic Operators (AEO) and exporters certified for origin under Free Trade Agreements (FTA). They will provide consulting and education related to customs administration, such as export customs clearance and tariff refunds, and share information to help export companies enter overseas markets.

On the previous day, the Seoul Customs Office established an online special exhibition hall for FTA-certified exporters and AEO-certified companies on 'TradeKorea,' a B2B online trading platform operated by the Korea International Trade Association. Ninety-eight domestic small and medium-sized enterprises selected through a public contest will showcase their main products, including beauty, food, medical, and chemical products, until November next year.
