Dongseo University is holding an event to help with access to and overall understanding of the AI industry.
The SW-Centered University Project Group at Dongseo University will hold the ‘Show Me the Dongseo AI’ event from the 19th to the 21st at the Haeundae Centum Campus.
At the event, the SW-Centered University Project Group will unveil results such as the AI Advanced Track, SW Convergence Interdisciplinary Major, and SW Value Expansion.
The exhibition hall will feature major briefings, exhibitions of outstanding student works, displays of award-winning works from internal and external contests, and various experiences and demonstrations.
The event will also showcase a photo book for toddlers and award-winning works from the AI hackathon, along with events like ‘Sweet Robot Ice Cream is the Best!’, ‘How About My Cool Face?’, and ‘I am a Superhero’. Afterwards, lectures by AI experts will follow.
On the 19th, Professor Jang Won-du from Pukyong National University will give a lecture on ‘Artificial Intelligence and Deep Learning’; on the 20th, Professor Park Seong-hoon from Hanyang University will present ‘Artificial Intelligence and Humans’; and on the 21st, Narantuya Jargalsaikhan from Kakao Enterprise will deliver a special lecture titled ‘Building AI Computing Environment with OSS’.
Moon Mi-kyung, head of the SW-Centered University Project Group, said, “Although the general public has a high interest in artificial intelligence, it is difficult to approach easily. I believe the Show Me the Dongseo AI event is a great opportunity to quench that thirst.”
