[Asia Economy Reporter Na Ye-eun] The People Power Party's website is being flooded with posts criticizing Representative Lee Jun-seok. As conflicts arise between Representative Lee and presidential candidate Yoon Seok-yeol over the formation of the presidential election campaign committee, some party members appear to be expressing their dissatisfaction.

On the People Power Party's website bulletin board "I Have Something to Say," as of the 12th, hundreds of posts such as "Control yourself, Lee Jun-seok," "He should resign," and "Let's recall the party member" have been posted. Due to the rapid increase in posts, access to the People Power Party website was even disrupted at 3 p.m. the previous day.

Looking at these posts, party members generally demand that Representative Lee not interfere in Candidate Yoon's campaign committee formation. Regarding the formation of the campaign committee, Candidate Yoon holds priority in party affairs according to party rules, but it is claimed that Representative Lee is excessively intervening.

One author wrote, "Representative Lee Jun-seok should work towards party unity, fight against illegal and unfair acts by those in power, serve as a fence for the opposition party, and play a role in regime change," adding, "What if he is doing politics for himself?"

Another author raised their voice, saying, "How can the party leader only cause discord?" and "The leader should be focusing all efforts on introducing a special prosecutor, so what is he doing?"

There are also calls proposing a 'party member recall system.' According to the People Power Party's constitution, party members can request the recall of the party leader and elected supreme council members who violate laws, party rules, or ethical codes, or who engage in acts that threaten the party's existence. To initiate a recall, signatures from more than 20% of all responsible party members and more than 10% of responsible party members from each city and province party are required, followed by a recall vote. In the recall vote, at least one-third of all responsible party members must participate, and a majority must vote in favor. Representative Lee is not subject to recall as he has not yet completed six months in office.

Earlier, a petition was posted on the Blue House's National Petition board requesting that Representative Lee's smartphone be taken away.

Petitioner A, who posted on the National Petition board on the 9th, stated, "I was once a supporter of Lee Jun-seok. I even joined the People Power Party to support Lee Jun-seok and Yoon Seok-yeol," but added, "However, he betrayed us. After becoming party leader, he engaged in daily keyboard battles with influential presidential candidates like Yoon Seok-yeol and Won Hee-ryong."

Meanwhile, Representative Lee revealed that the number of 2030 generation members who left the party after the party convention on the 5th, when former Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-yeol was selected as the party's presidential candidate, has exceeded 1,000 in the metropolitan area alone, targeting Supreme Council Member Kim Jae-won.

On the 8th, he said, "Last weekend alone, more than 1,800 people left the party in the metropolitan area, and over 75% of those who left were from the 2030 generation," adding, "I don't understand why someone would go on broadcasts and say strange things without knowing the facts, as if protecting Candidate Yoon's mood. What political gain do they seek by mocking the 2030 generation like that?"
