[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] KT announced on the 12th that it has launched an ‘Interactive Text Message Service’ that allows companies and businesses to conveniently respond to customers in real time.
The Interactive Text Message Service features the ability to send and receive text messages in real time from a company’s or business’s PC to customers. This enables text messaging to be used not just as a simple notification tool but as a marketing tool.
In particular, it has an auto-reply function that allows administrators to specify automatic response phrases and set scenarios according to their needs, enhancing convenience. It also provides a feature to chat with customers via real-time text messages, enabling clear communication even with customers who have difficulty making phone calls.
KT also offers the Interactive Text Message Service in the form of an API (Application Programming Interface) so that companies and businesses can easily integrate the service into systems they have built separately. This allows companies to communicate with customers via text messages within their operating system environments.
Kkotbi, a flower delivery platform company, adopted KT’s Interactive Text Message Service for efficient order management. In addition, government agencies and numerous companies are reviewing the adoption of the Interactive Text Message Service for real-time communication with customers.
Min Hyebyeong, Head of KT Enterprise Service DX Division, said, “KT’s Interactive Text Message Service will be a service that can enhance the value of messaging services as a means of corporate marketing,” adding, “We will continue to develop services such as interactive text messaging and location-based messaging to provide more convenience and improve work productivity for companies and small business owners.”
