[Asia Economy Reporter Na Ye-eun] Kang Seong-beom, a comedian known for his pro-Justice Party stance, criticized Yoon Seok-yeol, the People Power Party's presidential candidate, referring to him as "Mr. Yoon" and "ajusshi" (mister).

On the 8th, Kang Seong-beom uploaded a video titled "It Will Be a Big Problem If We Lose Now" on his YouTube channel 'Kang Seong-beom TV'.

In the video, Kang raised his voice, saying, "It is surprising that Yoon Seok-yeol was chosen as the presidential candidate. They were a group that did not care about public opinion. They disparaged the public sentiment as reverse selection and further united to pick their own candidate."

He then mocked candidate Yoon, saying, "He only talks about beating people up and putting them in jail. Ajusshi, what kind of country do you want to turn back to? Prosecutor Republic? Bureaucrat Republic? Jangmo Republic? Hey, you’re the guy monopolizing Jangmo’s love."

He also added, "Seeing the stagnant figures from the People Power Party flocking to Yoon Seok-yeol’s side, I thought, 'Ah~ it’s already decided.' All the politicians have joined. It proved once again that 'those scary people will make impossible things possible, will make things happen.'

He continued, "The 20th presidential election has become a war, not a festival. If we lose, this country will be shattered. The entrenched vested interests who starved for the past five years will once again freely set up a feast for anything that comes their way. Anyway, Yoon Seok-yeol won’t notice even if he sees it, so the bureaucrats will make documents as they please."

Furthermore, he said, "We must stay awake. Pinch ourselves until our thighs bruise," and added, "This is just the beginning. Let’s stay strong."

Meanwhile, Kang Seong-beom previously issued an official apology in May after causing controversy by mentioning the hometowns of People Power Party leader Lee Jun-seok’s parents during his YouTube broadcast, which was criticized as regional and Chinese-Korean derogation.
