Hanwha Life Insurance-KT, Development of Insurance Products Based on Telecom and Insurance Data Hanwha General Insurance signed a business agreement with KT on the 11th to establish a total solution based on insurance and telecommunications data. [Asia Economy Reporter Oh Hyung-gil] Hanwha General Insurance signed a business agreement with KT on the 11th to establish a total solution based on insurance and telecommunications data.


The two companies will explore diverse business opportunities by developing insurance products and digital services based on data and discovering MyData business models.


Hanwha General Insurance plans to provide dedicated insurance services for small business owners on KT's digital commercial district analysis platform, "Jalnagage." Jalnagage is a big data-based platform that helps small business owners who find it difficult to analyze commercial districts operate their businesses effectively.


It will provide various insurance-related information, including mandatory insurance that small business owners must subscribe to, and develop exclusive products and simplified subscription processes for small business owners to enable customers to experience convenient insurance coverage services.


A Hanwha General Insurance official stated, "We expect to obtain statistical data from a new perspective," adding, "We plan to discover specialized business models based on wired and wireless communication data through continuous collaboration with KT to preoccupy the MyData market in the insurance industry."
