[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Hyowon] Didim, a KOSDAQ-listed company, announced on the 10th that sales have rapidly recovered, increasing by about 30% compared to the previous month, as consumer revisit rates for its popular brands ‘Sinmapo Galmaegi (directly operated stores)’ and ‘Yeonan Sikdang (special commercial districts)’ have risen.
The company is accelerating preparations for new winter menus ahead of various year-end events, amid an increase in family dining out following the easing of social distancing guidelines. It is also reportedly preparing promotions to enhance accessibility for the MZ generation.
A Didim official said, “As the desire to return to daily life grows, more customers are visiting Sinmapo Galmaegi and Yeonan Sikdang stores,” adding, “We expect fourth-quarter sales to grow significantly due to pent-up dining-out demand and various year-end events.”
“With the year-end and New Year’s party season approaching, we anticipate a substantial increase in fourth-quarter sales,” the official said.
Meanwhile, it was reported that lawyer Seok Donghyun, who serves as an outside director at Didim, has been appointed as the special advisor to candidate Yoon Seokyeol’s campaign team.
