On the 9th, Suwon City announced that it signed a written 'Business Agreement for Utilizing Suwon City Commercial Area Big Data' with the Gyeonggi Market and Commercial Area Promotion Agency.

According to the agreement, the Gyeonggi Market and Commercial Area Promotion Agency will share its commercial area information big data with Suwon City, and Suwon City plans to support small business owners by utilizing the big data.

Small business owners and those preparing to start a business can freely use the information provided on the Suwon City Big Data Portal when establishing their business plans.

The data provided by the Gyeonggi Market and Commercial Area Promotion Agency to Suwon City includes ▲ information on stores and businesses by industry, opening and closing status, survival rates ▲ status of alley commercial areas, developed commercial areas, and traditional market commercial areas ▲ number of transactions and usage amounts of local currency ▲ consumption characteristics ▲ residential population and number of workers ▲ major attraction facilities, bus stops, subway station information, and more.
