Communication and Empathy for "World Expo Hosting" at Busan National University Economic and Trade Hall on the 9th at 4:30 PM

Busan City and Busan National University announced that on the 9th at 4:30 PM, they will hold a thematic lecture on the 2030 Busan World Expo for Busan National University students to promote the 2030 Busan World Expo bid, with Mayor Park Hyung-jun participating as the lecturer.
The lecture will be a special session by Mayor Park on the theme of the 2030 Busan World Expo during the ‘Global Economy and Leadership’ class at the College of Economics and Commerce at Busan National University. Fifty people will attend in person, and about 150 will participate via Zoom.
Mayor Park plans to communicate with students on topics including ▲ Expos that changed civilizations, nations, cities, and companies ▲ Hosting rights granted only to cities with a considerable level of innovative leadership.
With the five bidding countries (Republic of Korea, Russia, Italy, Ukraine, Saudi Arabia) confirmed on the 29th of last month, Busan City will begin outreach Expo briefing sessions to actively encourage participation in the World Expo bid.
Additionally, starting with this lecture, plans are in place to expand opportunities for citizens and businesses to gain a deeper understanding of the Expo.
Mayor Park Hyung-jun said, “The full-scale bidding competition has begun. The 2030 Busan World Expo will lead new growth for Busan and the Republic of Korea and provide solutions for future generations,” adding, “We will create a proactive atmosphere centered on university students to successfully secure the bid.”
