School Enterprises Unite to Gift 'Slippers'... Gyeongnam Jeongbodae Shukit and Dongseo University Animotion Donate to Sasang-gu Vulnerable Groups

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] On the 5th, 200 pairs of bathroom slippers, commonly worn as slippers, were piled up at Sasang District Office in Busan.

These bathroom slippers are products created through a collaboration between two university school enterprises.

Gyeongnam Information University’s ShoeKIT and Dongseo University’s Animotion visited Sasang District Office on this day to donate 200 pairs of bathroom slippers, valued at approximately 3.4 million KRW.

ShoeKIT is a school enterprise of Gyeongnam Information University that manufactures living room and bathroom slippers, while Animotion is a school enterprise of Dongseo University specializing in commercial design such as character production.

The donated bathroom slippers will be given as gifts to 200 vulnerable households within Sasang District.

Gyeongnam Information University’s ShoeKIT was selected for the 3rd phase school enterprise support project led by the Ministry of Education and the Korea Institute for Advancement of Technology, and is conducting various projects in collaboration with Animotion.

They are contributing to revitalizing the local industry through exchanges with regional industrial companies.

Lee Sung-wook, head of the business group at Gyeongnam Information University, said, “I hope that Gyeongnam Information University, which is receiving much love in Sasang District where the campus is located, can be a small help to residents facing many difficulties,” and added, “We will strive to develop programs that work together with the local community.”

Two school companies from Gyeongnam Information University and Dongseo University visited Sasang District Office in Busan on the 5th and donated 200 pairs of bathroom slippers.
