[Asia Economy Reporter Park Hyungsoo] EN Corporation announced on the 2nd that it has acquired shares in Daeyang Enviro, a water treatment operation and management (O&M) company, and established an industrial water treatment platform.
Starting in March this year, EN Corporation began acquiring shares in Hanseong Cleantech, an industrial water treatment EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) company, followed by the acquisition of Inbiotech Dangjin Plant, a liquid designated waste and industrial wastewater treatment company, and EN Chemical Dangjin Plant. On the 28th, it additionally acquired Daeyang Enviro, a technology-innovative water treatment O&M company.
Daeyang Enviro, acquired by EN Corporation, is a technology-innovative O&M specialized company that has provided environmental facility operation services such as sewage treatment plant operations and incineration facilities at over 200 domestic and international sites for more than 30 years. It holds the No. 1 position in comprehensive commissioning domestically and ranks among the top in sewage O&M performance in Korea.
EN Corporation has expanded its business areas from water treatment EPC to liquid designated waste and industrial wastewater treatment, as well as O&M, thereby establishing a differentiated industrial water treatment value chain. It has the capability to provide integrated solutions across all areas of the water treatment business.
A company representative stated, “By successfully establishing the industrial water treatment platform as planned this year, the public sector O&M technology and know-how of Daeyang Enviro will combine with the industrial water treatment EPC capabilities possessed by Hanseong Cleantech to create integrated synergy. We expect to rapidly grow as the No. 1 industrial water treatment company based on advanced technology, differentiated from other companies.”
They added, “As an advanced environmental energy company, we aim to grow to achieve sales of 500 billion KRW by 2023.”
