Lotte Construction Discovers 167 Strong Small Partners "Co-Growth with Financial and Welfare Support"

Lotte Construction announced on the 28th that, as part of strengthening its Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) management, it will discover, collaborate with, and nurture strong small and medium-sized partner companies linked to local communities.

Lotte Construction stated, "We have established a plan to discover and collaborate with strong small and medium-sized partner companies to revitalize the local economy, which has been stagnant due to COVID-19," and explained, "Recognizing the importance of ESG management, we will focus on win-win activities with local communities and partners, and plan to expand partner operations from the metropolitan area to nationwide."

To this end, Gwangju Metropolitan City, Daegu Metropolitan City, and Incheon Metropolitan City were selected as base areas, and collaboration with local governments for partner discovery has been underway since August. Based on recommendations from local governments and regional construction associations, the possibility of collaboration with 2,045 excellent companies was reviewed, and a total of 167 strong local partner companies were finally discovered.

Going forward, Lotte Construction plans to establish a sustainable partner supply chain management system that fosters a win-win relationship through continuous communication with the discovered partners and practically helps revitalize the local economy.

Additionally, Lotte Construction will operate various co-growth support programs such as fund-type financial support and welfare support to ensure the continuous growth of local partners. They plan to strengthen co-growth capabilities through ongoing support and communication.
