[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] Galleria Department Store announced on the 28th that it has opened the global cosmetics select shop 'Sephora' for the first time in the Gyeonggi area on the basement 1st floor passage of Galleria Gwongyo.
Sephora is a cosmetics select shop operated by the global luxury company Louis Vuitton Mo?t Hennessy (LVMH) group, currently operating stores in 34 countries worldwide including France, the United States, Italy, and China. The Galleria Gwongyo passage store is the 6th nationwide in Korea and the first store introduced in the Gyeonggi area outside of Seoul.
Galleria Gwongyo plans to showcase over 70 domestic and international cosmetics brands, as well as various exclusive brands available only at Sephora, such as 'Drunk Elephant,' 'Loewe Perfume,' and 'Tarte,' which are being introduced for the first time at the Gwongyo Sephora store.
To commemorate the new opening, all customers who purchase products at the store will receive a phone strap and travel pouch on a first-come, first-served basis. A promotion will also be held until the 3rd of next month, offering double Beauty Pass points to customers who purchase any products.
