[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] The Hapcheon County Health Center in Gyeongnam announced on the 28th that it held a progress report meeting at Hapcheon Gymnasium following the closure of the COVID-19 vaccination center.


The event was attended by about 100 people, including Moon Jun-hee, Hapcheon County Governor, Bae Mong-hee, Chairman of the County Council, Lee Cheon-jong, Chairman of the Korean Senior Citizens Association Hapcheon Branch, volunteer organizations, and Hope Job workers. Under the theme "Early Achievement of 80% Herd Immunity, Towards With-Corona," the program included viewing a pre-education video on the COVID-19 vaccination center, introduction of guests, progress report on the COVID-19 vaccination project, awards for meritorious persons, and encouragement speeches.


Awards for meritorious service were given to one volunteer and one public health doctor who devoted themselves during the operation period. As of the 28th, the COVID-19 vaccination rate in Hapcheon County is 85.1% (36,637 people) for the first dose and 79.7% (34,346 people) for the second dose, with 21,300 people vaccinated at the Hapcheon County vaccination center.
