Pulse-K to Explore Next Year's Trends Through Unstructured Data Analysis... Participates in 'Trend Korea 2022' Prediction Section
Conan Technology (CEO Kim Young-seom), a company specializing in artificial intelligence software, is strengthening its analytical capabilities through collaboration between its real-time online media advanced analysis service ‘pulseK’ and the SNU Consumer Trend Analysis Center (Director Kim Nando) at Seoul National University.
The agreement between the two parties was signed in August. Through this collaboration, pulseK has established a foundation to expand the scope of unstructured data analysis beyond descriptive and diagnostic analysis to predictive and normative analysis stages.
As part of the collaboration, pulseK participated in the unstructured data analysis section of the annual publication Trend Korea 2022 by the SNU Consumer Trend Analysis Center. While social analysis is generally used mainly for trend reviews, it is meaningful that pulseK was utilized in the ‘prediction’ section that anticipates trends for 2022.
Additionally, various promotional activities will be conducted using media operated by the SNU Consumer Trend Analysis Center. A regular segment examining trends and issues through data analysis is planned to be produced for the YouTube channel ‘Trend Korea TV,’ and both organizations plan to continuously explore and expand various cooperation methods.
Kim Nando, Director of the Consumer Trend Analysis Center, evaluated this collaboration by stating, “By reinforcing data-based analysis as a methodology to understand the emergence of new trends and directions of change, the reliability and validity of the results have been significantly improved.”
Lee Moon-ki, Director of the Data Science Division at Conan Technology, expressed, “We expect the scope of pulseK’s applications to expand further through this collaboration,” adding, “In the future, pulseK will establish itself as an essential element for understanding consumers and markets in data-driven online business.”
pulseK is a real-time online media advanced analysis service launched by Conan Technology in 2012. pulseK is the only service that provides real-time online analysis of 18.3 billion documents.
