Persys 'Tepui' Wins 'Best of Best' at 2021 Pinup Design Awards

World-renowned architect Vincent van Duysen design, infused with Persisman's technical expertise

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Jong-hwa] Premium lounge furniture brand TEPUI by Fursys has won the top award, "Best of Best," at the 2021 Pinup Design Awards.

Organized by the Korea Industrial Design Association, the Pinup Design Awards are considered one of the top three design awards in Korea, alongside the Korea Design Awards and the Good Design Awards (GD). Fursys received the highest honor for TEPUI, while its sofa series AERIE and open office customized space solution SYSTEM BOOTH were selected for the "Pinup Best 100," and the open shelving unit PLAD was named a finalist.

The TEPUI series, embodying the sophisticated European style and luxury minimalism, was created in collaboration with world-renowned Belgian architect Vincent Van Duysen. The surface finishing is done by hand, resulting in a unique texture for each product that offers a differentiated office space. It uses premium Italian porcelain, maintaining luxury while offering better maintenance and ease of care compared to marble.

Designed for private offices, lounges, and premium business communication spaces, TEPUI includes components such as ▲conference tables ▲round tables ▲sofa tables ▲chairs ▲coat hangers ▲clothes racks, allowing for versatile arrangements depending on the purpose of the space. Individual products can also be used as interior objects, and placing the entire series enhances spatial unity.
