Over 250 brands participating, up to 80% discount... Supporting domestic demand recovery

[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] Lotte Department Store announced on the 28th that it will participate in the 'Korea Fashion Market' from the 29th of this month until the 2nd of next month. Due to the phased return to daily life (With Corona), consumption of fashion products is expected to surge, so the number of participating stores and brands has been expanded compared to before.

Now in its fourth season, the 'Korea Fashion Market' is a large-scale fashion discount event collaboratively organized by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, Korea Fashion Industry Association, Korea Department Store Association, and Korea Federation of Textile Industries to support the fashion industry struggling due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic and to revitalize the domestic economy. Lotte Department Store has participated in Season 1 and 2 held last year and Season 3 held in June this year, supporting partner companies through various methods such as helping fashion brands open sales channels and marketing activities, reducing sales commissions, and early payment of funds.

In this 'Korea Fashion Market' Season 4, a total of 8 stores (Main Branch, Jamsil Branch, Yeongdeungpo Branch, Nowon Branch, Cheongnyangni Branch, Incheon Terminal Branch, Busan Main Branch, Premium Outlet Paju Branch) will sell clothing and accessories from over 250 brands including women's and men's fashion, outdoor, golf, and children's categories at discounts of up to 80%. A promotion will also be held where up to 5% of the purchase amount per store will be given back as L.POINT or Lotte gift certificates.

At the Jamsil Branch, on the basement 1st floor Trevi Plaza and the 8th floor event hall, products from about 70 brands including Kolon Sport, K2, Black Yak, Eider, Biner, Giordano, and Franco Ferraro will be sold at discounts of up to 80%. At Yeongdeungpo Branch, discount events for about 50 brands will be held simultaneously at the 5th floor event hall, 10th floor cultural hall, and the 3rd floor inside Yeongdeungpo Station. The Main Branch will hold events on the 9th floor, Nowon Branch on the 4th floor, and Incheon Terminal Branch on the 3rd floor, among other store-specific event locations.

On the first day of the event, the 29th, the opening ceremony for 'Korea Fashion Market' Season 4 will be held from 11 a.m. at the 1st floor Trevi Plaza of Jamsil Branch. A fashion show promoting 'eco-friendly fashion,' which has recently become a global trend, will be held to convey the message of 'sustainable consumption.' This fashion show, featuring famous models Lee Hyun-yi and Song Hae-na, will introduce various eco-friendly products launched by popular outdoor brands such as K2, The North Face, Eider, Black Yak, as well as OOTT, an eco-friendly brand created by Lotte Department Store. The fashion show will be broadcast live online through '100LIVE,' Lotte Department Store's live broadcast channel on LotteON, allowing real-time communication with customers and sales of related products.

Kim Dae-su, Head of Lotte Department Store's Metropolitan Area Region 1, said, "Thanks to the support from previous events, we have prepared this event on a larger scale." He added, "We hope this event will help restore consumer sentiment that has been weakened by the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic and provide practical support to partner companies facing difficulties."
