Expecting Creation of Over 160 Jobs with 130 Billion Won Investment
[Jeonju=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Han-ho] Jeonbuk Province and Wanju County announced on the 27th that they signed an investment agreement with Daejoo Kores Co., Ltd. and Adeka Korea Co., Ltd. at the Andong Culture and Arts Center in Gyeongbuk.
According to this agreement, Daejoo Kores Co., Ltd. will invest 84.3 billion KRW to establish a future-oriented automobile parts manufacturing plant in Wanju Technovalley 2nd General Industrial Complex (30,058㎡).
Additionally, Adeka Korea Co., Ltd. plans to invest 50 billion KRW to produce semiconductor materials.
With the investments from these two companies, it is expected that over 160 jobs will be created in Jeonbuk, revitalizing the economy not only in Wanju County but throughout Jeonbuk.
In particular, this investment agreement was signed at the ‘Mid-sized Company Investment Attraction Local Government Joint IR’ hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, adding significant meaning.
Daejoo Kores Co., Ltd. was established in 1972 and supplies automobile parts to Jaguar, Volkswagen, Hyundai Motor Company, and others.
Adeka Korea Co., Ltd. is a Korean corporation established in 1991 with its headquarters in Wanju, fully funded by Japan’s ADEKA Co., Ltd., which has sales of 3 trillion KRW.
