[Asia Economy Reporter Cha Min-young] The Ministry of Science and ICT announced on the 27th that it selected three companies?Vernect, Skonec Entertainment, and NDS?as excellent cases of the Digital New Deal in October.

The Ministry of Science and ICT selects outstanding cases each month among companies participating in the Digital New Deal that demonstrate excellent performance and high public awareness and ripple effects, and announces them as excellent cases of the Digital New Deal.

Vernect participated in the Ministry’s ‘Virtual Convergence Technology (XR) Flagship Project’ and was evaluated for reducing manufacturing process errors and production time through digital transformation in industrial sites, contributing to the utilization and dissemination of virtual convergence technology (XR).

Skonec Entertainment developed immersive firefighting training content and demonstrated related technology at the living lab established in the Daejeon Fire Headquarters 119 Special Rescue Team.

NDS built a medical MyData platform applying blockchain technology and has provided services such as blockchain-based electronic prescription delivery and indemnity insurance claims since last year.
