On the 27th, the Seongnam Jungwon Police Station in Gyeonggi Province announced that they had arrested a man in his 20s, identified as A, on charges of abducting and luring a minor, and sent him to the prosecution.

A is suspected of luring B (9) for criminal purposes near Suseong Overpass in Seongnam-dong, Jungwon-gu, Seongnam City, on the afternoon of the 14th.

It was investigated that he had been pretending to be an older middle school sister on SNS for several months and had built a relationship with B through chatting.

On the day of the incident, police who responded to a report that "B did not come to the academy" tracked B's cellphone location and arrested A, who was with B near Suseong Overpass in Seongnam-dong, after about two hours.

Fortunately, it was reported that no additional criminal damage occurred. The police are investigating the specific motive and circumstances and whether A contacted other girls besides B.
