JT Savings Bank Supports Local Gift Certificates for Children Affiliated with Seongnam City Social Welfare Council

[Asia Economy Reporter Song Seung-seop] JT Savings Bank announced on the 27th that it will engage in livelihood support activities for local market merchants, self-employed individuals, and vulnerable groups struggling due to COVID-19.

JT Savings Bank held a 'Seongnam Love Gift Certificate Delivery Ceremony for Supporting Vulnerable Children in the Region' with the City Social Welfare Council at its headquarters in Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province, the day before. They also delivered 'Seongnam Love Gift Certificates,' a local currency of Seongnam, to 40 households of children affiliated with the council. The gift certificates can be used like cash at affiliated stores such as restaurants, traditional markets, alley shops, and academies within Seongnam. Local currency was utilized to support local merchants and self-employed businesses in alley markets.
