Dongshin University Contributes to Women's Social Participation and Gender Equality, Receives Gwangju Mayor's Commendation

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Cho Hyung-joo] Dongshin University announced on the 26th that it received a commendation from the Mayor of Gwangju at the 29th Gwangju Women's Conference, hosted by the Gwangju Women's Association Council, in recognition of its contribution to women's social participation and the realization of a practical gender-equal society.

Through the Gender Equality Center and the University Job Center, Dongshin University conducts ▲ gender awareness improvement camps ▲ gender equality and human rights campaigns ▲ group counseling on gender equality ▲ preventive education to enhance gender sensitivity, contributing to gender equality and gender awareness improvement within the university and the local community.

In addition, the university has developed and operates customized sexual violence and sexual harassment prevention education programs tailored to each academic year for university students, and runs and supports various specialized programs reflecting the job characteristics of female students.
