Now in its second year following last year, the Changdong Snow Flower Night Market is an event that creates a romantic winter atmosphere using artificial snow made with snow machines and illuminated snowflake-shaped sculptures.
The night market will be open daily from the 27th until November 7th during the Masan Chrysanthemum Festival period, and after that, it will operate only on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. The hours are from 6 PM to 10 PM.
Kim Bu-sik, Director of the Economic Revitalization Division, said, "We will take a step further toward phased daily recovery through local consumption promotion events aligned with the With-Corona policy."
Following the Chrysanthemum Festival, Changwon City plans to promote the Changdong Snow Flower Street Winter Festival, featuring talk shows and prize events, to comfort citizens exhausted by COVID-19 and stimulate consumer sentiment to revitalize the depressed local economy.
