[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Ji-eun] Former President Roh Tae-woo, the 13th president of the Republic of Korea, passed away on the 26th due to an illness.
Mr. Roh, who had been bedridden for a long time due to his illness, died on the day he was transferred to the emergency room. He was recently admitted to Seoul National University Hospital due to worsening symptoms and received intensive care from medical staff but ultimately did not recover. He was 89 years old.
