Xinhua reported that both sides had practical, candid, and constructive conversations, agreeing that as the global economic recovery is at a critical juncture, it is very important for the two countries to communicate and cooperate in the field of macroeconomic policy.
The Chinese side conveyed its demands during the call, including the removal of the U.S.'s high tariffs on China and sanctions against Chinese companies.
