Hyundai Department Store Hosts Various Discount Events for Korea Sale Festa

[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] Hyundai Department Store announced on the 26th that it will hold various discount events and promotions during the ‘2021 Korea Sale Festa’ to overcome the economic crisis caused by COVID-19.

From the 29th of this month to the 14th of next month, Hyundai Department Store will host the ‘More Hyundai Shopping Festa’ at 24 stores nationwide, including 16 department stores such as the Apgujeong Main Store and 8 outlets including Hyundai Premium Outlet Gimpo, as well as its official online mall, The Hyundai.com.

During the event, more than 60 fashion brands will participate, offering up to 60% discounts on past season products. Hyundai Department Store membership members will also receive shopping support funds that can be used at 16 department stores nationwide from the 1st to the 14th of next month. Customers who purchase over 200,000 KRW or 400,000 KRW at a single store during the event period can receive discounts of 10,000 KRW or 20,000 KRW respectively.

From the 29th to the 7th of next month, ‘Hyundai Outlet Super Weekend’ will be held at all 8 outlet stores nationwide, including Hyundai Premium Outlet Gimpo. Products will be sold at an additional 10-20% discount on top of the existing outlet prices. From the 1st to the 7th of next month, The Hyundai.com online shopping mall will offer discount coupons of up to 20% to the first 1,000 customers each day.

A Hyundai Department Store official said, “We hope this event will help many partner companies struggling due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic,” and added, “We will focus all efforts on providing shopping support funds and special exhibitions for small and medium-sized enterprises during the event period to promote mutual growth with customers and partner companies.”
