[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Shin Dong-ho] The pet-specialized store ‘Collioli’ at Lotte Mart Gwangju Suwan Branch is gaining popularity.
According to Lotte Mart Gwangju Suwan Branch on the 25th, Collioli, which opened on the 30th of last month, is the second store following the Seoul Eunpyeong Branch, and it is the first in the provinces at the Gwangju Suwan Branch.
The area near Lotte Mart Suwan Branch is a densely populated residential area representing Gwangju, including Suwan District, Sinchang and Singa Districts, and Unnam-dong, and it was chosen based on the judgment that there is a particularly high number of pet-owning households.
‘Collioli’ is a new ‘pet total store’ by Lotte Mart that dreams of a happy life for pets, combining the fluffy dog ‘Colli’ like broccoli and the round cat ‘Olli’ like an olive.
On the second floor of the Suwan Branch, in an area of 310㎡, the space is composed of pet-exclusive supplies, various foods including frozen products, a veterinary clinic, and grooming services.
The spacious store offers more than 2,000 types of pet-exclusive products. For pet electronics (automatic feeders, water purifiers, drying rooms, etc.) and cat towers, a separate display area is arranged so customers can try them out before deciding to purchase.
Differentiated services are also prepared. For the first time in the distribution industry, a specialized zone for pet health functional foods has been established, and veterinary and grooming services for pets are also provided.
Bae Hyo-kwon, Head of Lotte Mart Honam Region, said, “As we enter the era of 15 million pet owners, the meaning is evolving from ‘simply pets to raise’ to ‘pets who share life together.’ We believe that at Collioli stores, customers can receive the best products and services for pets who are family members.”
