Kang Pil-hyun, Head of Innovation Growth Headquarters, Appointed as 8th Director of Busan Design Promotion Institute

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bo-kyung] Kang Pil-hyun, former Head of the Innovation Growth Division at the Korea Institute of Design Promotion (photo), was appointed as the 8th Director of the Busan Design Promotion Agency on the 26th.

New Director Kang Pil-hyun graduated from Konkuk University with a degree in Industrial Design and earned a master's degree in Industrial Design from Korea University.

He is a design policy expert who worked at the Korea Institute of Design Promotion for 29 years since 1992, serving as Head of the Innovation Growth Division, Director of the Strategic Research Office, and Director of the Service Design Office.

Based on his extensive knowledge of design, he is recognized for contributing to support for design companies, revitalization of the social economy through service design, and creation of value through the convergence of design and new technologies.
