[Asia Economy Reporter Park Sun-mi] KB Kookmin Bank announced on the 25th that it held the 'KB Tech Forum 2021' to raise interest in new technologies and strengthen technological competitiveness through discovering best practices.
The forum, held on the 22nd, was attended by employees of KB Kookmin Bank who wished to participate and took place at the Yeouido New Building Star*D Hall. Under the theme "The Future of Metaverse and Finance," Shin Dong-hyung, author of "Beyond Change" and team leader at RSUPPORT, delivered the keynote speech. Afterwards, developers from the KB Kookmin Bank Tech Group presented internal innovation cases they directly promoted on site in programs organized by each headquarters.
Through this Tech Forum, the latest technology trends were shared and discussions were held to internalize these technologies as KB's competitive advantage. Additionally, the forum shared with participating employees how tech will play a pivotal role in the upcoming changes in finance and the expected benefits from this.
