[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Juhyung] Controversy is growing as it has been revealed that a netizen secretly filmed the interior of a men's bathhouse and distributed the footage on social networking services (SNS). On the Blue House's national petition board, a post has been made urging authorities to apprehend and criminally punish this netizen.
On the 24th, a petition titled "Strongly urge severe punishment for the men's bathhouse hidden camera (molka) incident that occurred on Twitter" was posted on the Blue House website's national petition board.
The petitioner stated, "Please punish the criminal who trespassed into the men's bathhouse without permission, illegally filmed, and boldly posted it on SNS for everyone to see."
According to the petitioner, the video filmed by this netizen also included a young child.
He said, "The problem is not just illegal filming and distribution. Among the people visible on the video playback screen, there is also a young child," adding, "The perpetrator posted the illegally filmed men's bathhouse video around October 19 and used hateful expressions without any remorse. This is a child sexual crime and a heinous act that no human should commit."

The problematic video became known after capture images were shared on internet communities such as 'Bobae Dream.'
From the images, it is presumed that the netizen who filmed the hidden camera video discovered stairs connected to the entrance of the men's bathhouse and used them to film the interior. The netizen posted on their Twitter account, "Ah, this is hilarious. I found a place where I can look inside the men's bathhouse," along with a photo of the stairs.
Then, they slightly opened the door and filmed the men's bathhouse visible through the gap, posting it on their account. Among the videos uploaded by this netizen, the images of adults and children sitting in the bathhouse are shown without any mosaic blurring.
It appears that this netizen used Twitter's 'Protect (private)' setting. In other words, the videos and images they filmed were not exposed to the general public but shared only with their followers.
Meanwhile, those who saw the video criticized the filmer with comments such as "Shouldn't this be reported to the police?", "Isn't this practically child sexual abuse?", and "This is crazy."
