◆Half Lips= The author has no formality with the poetic subject. Sometimes soothing and playing, then pretending not to care. At times, becoming polite as if dedicating their entire life. Intimately engaging with all conflicting things. There is no determination to pierce through anything. Yet, strangely, the gun of language pierces the heart repeatedly. Sometimes sadly, sometimes painfully, sometimes playfully... The beautiful and deadly poison inherent in directness.
"Oppas grow rapidly like bamboo shoots and leave for the city / One winter, heavy snow poured from the overcrowded sky / The thatched house where sparrows lived collapsed / I sat too long in memories without sparrows or sparrow houses / When wounds live together, affection grows as if they were your own flesh / On a day when a handful of winter sunlight is as warm as down feathers / Today, I will sit with a small girl who held back her tears / And teach her how to cry / Crying is not about holding back, even good children cry."
