"Fake Oil, Don't Move!" … Ministry of Industry and Korea National Oil Corporation Launch Campaign to Establish Fair Oil Distribution Order

‘AltteulYu’ Only at Altteul Gas Stations... Campaign to Eradicate Fake Petroleum Distribution

"Fake Oil, Don't Move!" … Ministry of Industry and Korea National Oil Corporation Launch Campaign to Establish Fair Oil Distribution Order The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and Korea National Oil Corporation are jointly conducting a campaign to establish a fair petroleum distribution order at the Daejeon Altteul Gubongsan self-service gas station.

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] “No fake oil! ‘Alttul’ fuel is only at Alttul gas stations!”

On the afternoon of the 22nd, the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and the Korea National Oil Corporation jointly held a campaign at an Alttul gas station in the Daejeon area to establish a fair petroleum distribution order.

This campaign was organized by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy in cooperation with the Korea National Oil Corporation to eradicate illegal activities and enhance fairness in petroleum distribution, following recent incidents of fake oil sales at some Alttul gas stations and the distribution of Alttul gas station supply oil to general gas stations, which disrupted the petroleum distribution order.

Participants in the campaign emphasized the establishment of a sound petroleum distribution order by urging fuel business operators to prohibit the sale of fake oil, comply with accurate quantities, stop changing delivery locations, and prevent transactions between gas stations.

They conducted intensive promotional activities so that customers can use Alttul gas stations with greater confidence. This campaign will start at the Alttul Gubongsan Self Gas Station in Daejeon and will expand to Alttul gas stations in the Daejeon, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam areas.

Jeon Byung-hyuk, head of the Distribution Business Division at the Korea National Oil Corporation, who participated in the campaign, said, “The government and public institutions will take a leading role to eradicate illegal elements in vital economic sectors closely related to the daily lives of the people, such as petroleum product distribution, so that a culture of integrity can spread to the private sector as well.”

The Korea National Oil Corporation plans to continue management efforts to raise business owners’ awareness of quality control and build trust in Alttul fuel quality by conducting surprise inspections of Alttul gas station quality management practices, as it did last September.
