[Asia Economy Reporter Cha Min-young] Domestic online video service (OTT) company TVING announced on the 21st that it will hold promotions such as a 41% discount on annual subscriptions to celebrate its first anniversary as an independent company.

From today until November 20, TVING will run the ‘TVING K-Con Festa,’ offering annual subscriptions at a 41% discounted price through the event page within TVING for one month.

This TVING K-Con Festa promotion is composed of three themes: ▲ K-Con Market (41% discount on unlimited pass) ▲ K-Con Matjip (K-Con taste test) ▲ K-Con Theater (TVING anticipated releases).

TVING Standard and Premium annual subscriptions are available at a 41% discount for 77,000 KRW and 99,000 KRW, respectively. When purchasing a subscription, customers receive 100% CGV discounts, CJ The Market vouchers and discount coupons, LF Mall discount coupons, and can also participate in a home appliance giveaway event.

Through the K-Con Matjip page, users can test their own K-content viewing type. The test is structured similarly to an MBTI survey, consisting of 12 questions and 16 types to classify content viewing preferences. Based on the test results, users can check TVING recommended content and compatible viewing chemistry types.

Through K-Con Theater, users can watch the first episode of the TVING original ‘Sulkkun Doshi Yeoja-deul’ (Drunk City Women), which will be released for free on the 22nd at 4 PM. Additionally, among users who watch the TVING original lineup introduction video, 100 people will be given Starbucks Americano coupons in an event.
