Homeplus Offers 'I Am Taxi' Coupons to Shoppers at Seoul Stores

My Homeplus Members and Customers Who Spend Over 30,000 KRW Receive 6,000 KRW Coupons

[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] Homeplus announced on the 21st that it will support customers with taxi coupons through a partnership with the premium large van taxi service 'i.M (i.M)'.

Homeplus stated that it will run a promotion providing i.M taxi coupons to My Homeplus membership members residing in Seoul and customers who spend over 30,000 KRW at marts and directly operated supermarkets (Homeplus Express) within Seoul.

Until the 27th, customers who spend over 30,000 KRW at 19 Homeplus large mart stores in Seoul and stores located in shopping malls within those stores, as well as customers who spend over 30,000 KRW at 71 Homeplus Express directly operated stores, will receive 6,000 KRW i.M taxi coupons on a first-come, first-served basis, with a total of 100,000 coupons distributed at checkout counters and customer service centers.

The received coupons can be registered through the i.M taxi smartphone application (app) and used by calling a vehicle.

My Homeplus membership members who have registered their address in Seoul can also receive a 6,000 KRW coupon via the mobile app. Homeplus will issue coupon codes that can be registered and used in the i.M taxi app to the first 100,000 customers with a membership registration address in Seoul through the My Homeplus app event page until the 10th of next month.

Customers who enjoy shopping while using the Homeplus Culture Center with their children will receive a 10,000 KRW coupon. This is intended to support a comfortable ride home using i.M taxi, which can easily accommodate strollers, for customers who finish their culture center classes and visit the large mart to shop before heading home.

Accordingly, Homeplus will distribute a total of 10,000 paper coupons on a first-come, first-served basis to registrants of culture center classes at 18 stores operating culture centers in the Seoul area.

i.M taxi is a taxi service featuring the latest RV vehicles equipped with droplet-blocking screens and air purifiers, allowing customers carrying heavy luggage to travel comfortably. This service, available throughout Seoul, starts with a base fare of 4,500 KRW (daytime rate, up to 2 km) and charges fees proportional to the travel distance, making it available at a reasonable price.
