Conference Center, Federation of Korean Industries Building on the 27th
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heung-soon] As the 2050 carbon neutrality policy is being actively established and promoted, a forum will be held to discuss a rational energy policy direction considering the realities of our industry and economy.
The Federation of Korean Industries announced on the 20th that it will hold a seminar titled "Rational Energy Policy Direction for 2050 Carbon Neutrality" at 2 p.m. on the 27th at the FKI Conference Center in Yeouido, Seoul.
Professor Park Joo-heon of Dongduk Women's University Department of Economics (former Director of the Energy Economics Institute) will give a keynote presentation on "Orderly Carbon Neutral Energy Transition," and Research Fellow Roh Dong-seok of Seoul National University Nuclear Policy Center will present on "Power Mix Composition Plans and Challenges in the Carbon Neutral Era."
In the comprehensive discussion session, Cho Kyung-yeop, Director of Economic Research at the Korea Economic Research Institute, will serve as the chair, with Professor Lee Dong-gyu of the Department of Economics at the University of Seoul and Professor Baek Cheol-woo of the Department of International Trade at Duksung Women's University participating as discussants.
