Hancom Intelligence and Sungkyunkwan University Join Hands for AI Technology Exchange and Commercialization

[Asia Economy Reporter Buaeri] Hancom Intelligence, a subsidiary of Hancom MDS, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Sungkyunkwan University for AI technology exchange and commercialization.

On the 20th, Hancom Intelligence announced that it will receive AI art style creation technology from Sungkyunkwan University and promote its commercialization. They agreed to commercialize AI creative technologies in cultural and artistic fields such as art, music, and novels.

The two companies plan to share information to activate AI research, establish a system for technical cooperation, and also focus on nurturing future talent.

Lee Ji-hyung, head of the Department of Artificial Intelligence at Sungkyunkwan University, said, "If Hancom Intelligence, which has excellent technology in IoT, Metaverse, and AI, collaborates with Sungkyunkwan University’s world-class research and development personnel, they can create new innovative services in the cultural and artistic fields."

Ji Chang-geon, CEO of Hancom Intelligence, stated, "We will build a cooperative system for the development and commercialization of various AI-based services and strengthen our AI business capabilities."
