This agreement was established to contribute to the development of related industries and the region by revitalizing the cultivation of local talent in the smart manufacturing field.

On this day, both institutions promised mutual cooperation through the agreement to introduce new technologies and provide on-site education, program development, and curriculum organization for teachers and students.

Additionally, Gyeongnam National University agreed to assist in discovering and supporting local talent, while Masan Technical High School will receive help in the practical professional talent training process, actively exchanging to strengthen the capabilities of enrolled students.

Meanwhile, Gyeongnam National University established the Smart Mechanical Convergence Engineering major in 2020, striving to cultivate talent that encompasses not only the mechanical field but also electrical, electronic, and ICT fields, integrating manufacturing DNA.

In particular, the Smart Mechanical Convergence Engineering major has achieved remarkable results based on an excellent educational system tailored to the Fourth Industrial Revolution era, with 85% of recent students passing the CATIA certification exam.
