[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-seon] Private equity firm Hahn & Company has filed an injunction request to prevent Chairman Hong Won-sik from exercising voting rights at the extraordinary general meeting scheduled for the 29th.

Namyang Dairy Products announced on the 19th that Hahn & Company filed an injunction request to prohibit the exercise of voting rights against Chairman Hong, the largest shareholder, and two others.

Namyang Dairy Products plans to hold an extraordinary general meeting at its headquarters in Gangnam-gu on the 29th to appoint three internal directors: Senior Director Kim Seung-eon, Sejong Plant Manager Jeong Jae-yeon, and Naju Plant Manager Lee Chang-won. Currently, Namyang Dairy Products' internal directors consist of four members: Chairman Hong, Chairman Hong's mother Ji Song-juk, Chairman Hong's eldest son Executive Director Hong Jin-seok, and CEO Lee Kwang-beom.

Following the 'Bulgaris incident,' Chairman Hong signed a stock purchase agreement on the 5th to transfer all shares held by Hahn & Company and Namyang Dairy Products. However, early last month, Chairman Hong notified the termination of the contract.
