'The 10th Northeast Asia Industrial Technology Forum' Opens on the Afternoon of the 20th
Discussion on 'Strategies to Respond to Paradigm Changes in Science and Technology Industry in the Post-Corona Era'
[Asia Economy Reporter Ra Young-cheol] The "10th Northeast Asia Industrial Technology Forum," jointly hosted annually on a rotating basis by Gangwon Province, Tottori Prefecture in Japan, and Jilin Province in China, will be held online on the afternoon of the 20th at the Gangwon Global Digital Studio.
According to the province on the 19th, the forum will be held under the theme "Response Strategies to Changes in Science, Technology, and Industrial Paradigms in the Post-COVID Era."
Local governments from each country will present topics such as "Current Status of Gangwon Province's Digital Healthcare Industry (Gangwon Province)," "Non-contact Resonance Opening Specific Technology Using Light Cutting Method (Tottori Prefecture)," and "Concepts and Experiences of Traditional Chinese Medicine in COVID-19 Treatment (Jilin Province)."
Yang Won-mo, Director of the Advanced Industry Bureau of Gangwon Province, will propose through the forum's keynote speech ▲ new energy transition policies for achieving carbon neutrality among Northeast Asian local governments ▲ joint research and development promotion in future growth industry sectors ▲ and the establishment of a non-face-to-face exchange platform to respond to the post-COVID era.
Additionally, they plan to continuously discover advanced industrial technology exchange and cooperation projects to seek joint development in the advanced industry sectors of the three Northeast Asian local governments.
This forum marks its 10th session this year since it was first held in Gangwon Province in 2008 following the signing of the Northeast Asia advanced industry exchange and cooperation agreement.
