[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] OB Beer announced on the 19th that it won the Grand Prize at the '2021 9th Korea Brand Awards' hosted by the Korea Marketing Association.
The Korea Brand Awards is an award established by the Korea Marketing Association to commemorate and widely promote the achievements of companies and individuals who have created market success through customer value-centered brand management activities.
This year, OB Beer was finally selected as the grand prize-winning company by receiving excellent scores in evaluation categories related to ‘creative and integrated marketing strategies’ and ‘leading market trends.’
OB Beer has independently built an Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC) system and has approached and operated various marketing areas such as new product development, brand strategy, and media strategy in an integrated manner.
OB Beer renewed its leading domestic beer brand ‘Cass,’ which maintains the number one market share in Korea, as the transparent bottle ‘All New Cass’ in March this year, and has continuously carried out proactive marketing activities that do not settle for the status quo, such as empathy marketing targeting consumers experiencing the COVID-19 era.
Baek Hajun, CEO of OB Beer, said, “As Korea’s leading beer specialist company, OB Beer has grown together with our people through joys and sorrows for over 80 years. I am proud and pleased that OB Beer’s efforts to carry out marketing activities that reflect the spirit of the times and resonate with consumers have been recognized with such a valuable award.”
