[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Sehee] On Tuesday the 19th, the whole country will be mostly cloudy with occasional rain.

The expected rainfall continuing from the previous day is 5 to 20 mm in the Seoul metropolitan area, Gangwon Province (except northern Yeongdong), Chungnam region, and western Jeonbuk; around 5 mm in Chungbuk, eastern Jeonbuk, Jeonnam region, inland Gyeongsang region, northern Gyeongbuk east coast, Jeju Island, and the five islands in the West Sea. In northern Yeongdong of Gangwon, Ulleungdo, and Dokdo, 10 to 30 mm of rain is expected until the 20th. In the mid-northern mountainous areas of Gangwon where temperatures are low, about 1 cm of snow may fall in some places.

The morning low temperature is forecast to be between 4 and 12 degrees Celsius, and the daytime high between 13 and 20 degrees Celsius. Morning temperatures will be 5 to 9 degrees higher than the previous day due to the inflow of southwesterly winds, but after the rain stops, cold air will move southward from the northwest, bringing cold weather again on the 20th.

Fine dust levels will be at 'Good' levels across all regions.

Strong winds and high waves are expected in the West Sea, East Sea, and Jeju Island coastal waters, with the possibility of a storm warning being issued.

Sea waves will be 0.5 to 5.0 meters in the East Sea nearshore, 0.5 to 3.0 meters in the West Sea nearshore, and 0.5 to 2.5 meters in the South Sea nearshore. In the offshore waters (about 200 km from the coastline), wave heights are expected to be 0.5 to 6.0 meters in the East Sea, 1.5 to 4.0 meters in the West Sea, and 0.5 to 4.0 meters in the South Sea.
