Reception at Eupmyeondong Administrative Welfare Centers for Addresses Until the 29th

[Suncheon=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Hyung-kwon] The Suncheon City Talent Development Scholarship Foundation (Chairman Heo Seok) announced that it will begin accepting applications for this year's scholarship recruitment and selection starting from the 18th.

The scholarship foundation plans to select 177 students from elementary, middle, high school, and university levels and provide a total of 248 million KRW in scholarships.

They are recruiting scholarship recipients in six categories: Academic Excellence Scholarship (high school and university), Talent Scholarship (elementary, middle, high school, and university), Academic Improvement Scholarship (high school), Multiple Children Scholarship (middle, high school, and university), Cheonghyang (Seo Jeong-hyun) Scholarship (university), and Hope Dream Scholarship (elementary, middle, and high school).

Applications can be submitted from the 18th to the 29th at the administrative welfare centers of the applicant's local eup, myeon, or dong.

However, the Academic Improvement Scholarship is awarded to those recommended by their school principal who have improved their grades by more than 20% compared to the previous semester.

The scholarship foundation will finalize the recipients through evaluation and review by the end of November, followed by the scholarship foundation board's deliberation and resolution.

A Suncheon city official stated, “Despite the difficult circumstances due to COVID-19, since this scholarship is supported by the meaningful sponsorship of Suncheon citizens, we will support more local talents to dream of the future and continue their educational journey without disruption.”
