Promotion of Investment Attraction Environment and Consultation for Jeonnam Companies' Overseas Market Expansion
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Heo Seon-sik] The Gwangyang Bay Area Free Economic Zone Authority (Commissioner Song Sang-rak, hereinafter GFEZ Authority) announced on the 18th that it held a GFEZ investment briefing session in connection with the online export-import consultation fair held in Beijing, China, from October 12 to 18.
This event was co-hosted by the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Commerce and the Beijing branch of the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC) with the purpose of promoting export-import between companies based in Beijing and Northeast Asian companies. In addition to Beijing companies, more than 100 ICBC client companies from Northeast Asian countries including Korea, Japan, and Russia participated.
During the briefing session, the GFEZ Authority promoted the investment attraction environment of GFEZ and conducted consultations to help Jeonnam companies explore overseas markets. Commissioner Song Sang-rak also delivered a congratulatory message for the opening of the consultation fair via video on the 12th, asking for much interest in the Gwangyang Bay Area from Beijing and Northeast Asian companies and promoting the area.
