Four Meister High Schools in Busan Open Applications for New Students... No Duplicate Applications Allowed Nationwide Busan Metropolitan Office of Education.

The Busan Metropolitan Office of Education announced that four Meister High Schools in the Busan area will recruit a total of 528 new students, with 101 through special admissions and 427 through general admissions.


The four Meister High Schools in Busan are Busan Mechanical Technical High School, Busan Software Meister High School, Busan Automotive High School, and Busan Maritime High School.


Applications can be submitted through each school's website from the 18th to the 21st. Applicants cannot apply to multiple Meister High Schools nationwide simultaneously.


According to each school's schedule, in-depth interviews and personality and aptitude tests will be conducted from the 27th to the 1st of next month.


Busan's Meister High Schools recruit new students on a nationwide basis, and the proportion of special admissions, including social integration admissions, is set at 10% or more of the total recruitment quota.


However, to guarantee opportunities for local talents to enter Meister High Schools, the proportion of successful applicants from other cities and provinces is limited to less than 30% at Busan Automotive High School and less than 50% at Busan Software Meister High School.


Busan Mechanical Technical High School will recruit a total of 240 new students: 24 through social integration admissions, 24 through principal recommendation admissions, and 192 through general admissions.


In the first stage, document screening will be conducted based on middle school academic records and non-academic records including attendance and volunteer activities, selecting 130% of the recruitment quota.


In the second stage, final successful candidates will be selected through in-depth interviews and personality and aptitude tests.


Busan Software Meister High School will recruit a total of 64 new students: 3 through social integration admissions, 22 through Meister talent admissions, and 39 through general admissions.


In the first stage, document screening will be conducted based on academic records and non-academic records including attendance and volunteer activities, selecting 130% of the recruitment quota.


In the second stage, final successful candidates will be selected through in-depth interviews and personality and aptitude tests. However, for the Meister talent admissions, an additional coding test will be conducted.


Busan Automotive High School will recruit a total of 96 new students: 10 through social integration admissions and 86 through general admissions.


In the first stage, document screening will be conducted based on academic records and non-academic records including attendance and volunteer activities, selecting 120% of the recruitment quota.


In the second stage, final successful candidates will be selected through in-depth interviews.


Busan Maritime High School will recruit a total of 128 new students: 14 through social integration admissions, 4 through principal recommendation admissions, and 110 through general admissions.


In the first stage, document screening will be conducted based on academic records and non-academic records including attendance and volunteer activities, selecting 130% of the recruitment quota.


In the second stage, final successful candidates will be selected through in-depth interviews and Meister in-depth aptitude tests.


The final successful candidates of these schools will be announced on November 3, and unsuccessful applicants can apply for special admissions at specialized high schools among early high schools.
