Developmental Disability Music Festival GMF Finals to be Held on the 27th

Performance of Beautiful Mind Orchestra, the grand prize winner at the 4th GMF held last year

[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Dae-yeol] The National Festival for People with Developmental Disabilities (GMF) will be held on the 27th at the Heart-Heart Foundation Recital Hall, announced SK Innovation, one of the sponsors.

Marking its 5th year, GMF will feature six final teams confirmed for the finals. In the classical category, there are four teams: Lumen Chamber Orchestra, Vivace Ensemble, Omia Bue Ensemble, and Playcimo. In the practical music category, there are two teams: Mosaic and Haewadal Band. Through the final competition, one team each will be awarded the Grand Prize and the Excellence Award, and two teams each will receive the Merit Award and the Encouragement Award.

Due to COVID-19, the event will be held in an untact (contactless) format and can be watched live via SK Innovation's or the Heart-Heart Foundation's YouTube channels. Now in its 5th year, GMF has produced 131 performing groups and 1,424 performers to date.
